Dragflow, a pioneer of the dredging industry, through their extensive research and testing are now able to supply excavators that can be used with their Electric Dredging pumps. This is ground breaking achievement for both Dragflow and the dredging industry, which Euroflo are proud to be part of.
Euroflo customers now have this incredible opportunity to combine Electric Pumps with excavators to let the pumps operate more efficiently in the presence of very compact material. These excavators use rotating cutters, which are able to excavate material to improve the amount of solid that can be put in suspension by the pump agitator. This is achieved by producing increased concentration of slurry enabling an electric pump to deal with the harshest of slurries once only achievable using the Dragflow hydraulic systems.
This electric dredging pump and rotary excavator system can also be used with a Jet ring system which also helps break up really compact solids.
Roberto Martinelli, DRAGFLOW Director, comments:
“We’ve always been the first to think of innovative solutions. Our next goal will be to make a heavy duty version of the Electric Excavators, in order to assure the same range of products as for Hydraulic”.
DRAGFLOW were the first company to produce Hydraulic Excavators more than 15 years ago and are looking forward to producing the heavier duty electric versions to compliment the product range.
Joseph Lavelle, Managing Director of Euroflo, is happy with this development and welcomes the extension of the Dragflow range.
“We have seen an increase in the amount of dredging units we’ve sold and rented out in the last 2/3 years and are delighted with this new product launch, which enables us to supply dredging equipment to a wider audience”
