SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS

Submersible pumps are specialized pumps designed to be fully submerged in water or other fluids they are pumping. They are commonly used for various applications such as drainage, sewage pumping, industrial pumping, and in residential wells. Unlike traditional pumps that are installed above ground and require priming to start pumping, submersible pumps are sealed to prevent water from entering the motor and are designed to function underwater.

These pumps typically consist of a motor and pump assembly encased in a waterproof housing. The motor is connected to the impeller, which is responsible for creating the pumping action. Submersible pumps are efficient because they push fluid rather than pulling it, reducing the risk of cavitation.

Submersible pumps come in various sizes and capacities to suit different applications, from small residential pumps for household water supply to large industrial pumps for dewatering mines or construction sites. They offer advantages such as quiet operation, space-saving installation, and high efficiency.
